Wow!

Forgive me readers for I have sinned. It has been 1 year, 4 months, and 14 days since my last confession....wait what? Yeah that's what I thought. So it's been a while. Remember at the beginning of 2009 when I said that I'd write more often, be more entertaining, and somehow lose 40 pounds in the process? Well that didn't happen. None of it. I did manage to get a job though so that's one good excuse for the lack of writing. I just don't have time for anything but work and sleep. At least I didn't when I lived farther away. Now I don't so much and my only excuse is a lack of motivation.

So in the last year I have secured employment on a full time basis (not too shabby), moved back in with my parents (a necessary evil), bought a new car (Volkswagen Passat, hooray Germans), we got a black president (holla!), Apple introduced their new line of feminine care products (Ummm), and I learned to use parentheses (neat huh?). Oh, I also joined a gym and hired a personal trainer to get my flabby ass into shape. It's swimsuit season dammit! And I'm also going to the Czech Republic, Austria, and The Netherlands starting on Thursday! Which is kind of the reason I'm kicking this off again. I'd like to write about the stuff that's going on on my trip but I figured you might need a reminder of who I am and why you care about what's going on with me. Trust me, you'll be glad I reintroduced us.

I will try (fingers crossed) to get back into the swing of things especially since I know how much you enjoy reading this stuff. Which brings me to this. This blog will be the only one that I maintain from now on. At one point I was maintaining three and it is kind of a hassle so this will be the go to destination for all things blogged by yours truly.
